This policy explains what personal information Brawlerz Box L.L.C. (“Brawlerz Box”, “we”, “us”) collects through brawlerzbox.com and the gym, how we use it, and the choices you have. We don’t sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Shop orders: your name, email, phone number and the items you buy. Card details go straight to our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
- Shop accounts (optional): your email, name, password (stored encrypted) and order history.
- Memberships and passes: when you sign up in our membership system, Gym Insight, it collects the details needed for your membership. That includes your name, contact details, address, date of birth, emergency contact, photo, signed agreement, payment details, and check-ins and door-access records at the gym. For a minor, it also records the parent or guardian.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, phone, form or at the front desk.
- Automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you got to the Site, through cookies and similar tools (see Cookies below).
How we use it
- To process, prepare and hand over your orders, and to send receipts and pickup details.
- To run your membership: billing, check-in, door access, class scheduling and personal training.
- To answer your questions and contact you about your account, orders or membership.
- To keep the Site and the gym secure and to prevent fraud.
- To understand how the Site is used so we can improve it.
- To send news and offers, only if you’ve opted in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any marketing text.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the gym and the Site, and only for that purpose:
- Gym Insight: membership sign-ups, billing, check-in and door access.
- WooPayments and Stripe: card payments and fraud prevention.
- Mailchimp: our customer email list and the newsletters you opt into.
- WordPress.com (Jetpack): site statistics and shop analytics.
- Cloudflare and Wordfence: site security and protection against attacks.
- Microsoft: our email service, used to send receipts and replies.
- Our IT provider and web host: they keep the Site running on servers in the United States.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the safety of our members and staff, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business. We don’t sell personal information and we don’t share it for other companies’ advertising.
Cookies
The Site uses a small number of cookies:
- Needed to work: your cart and checkout (WooCommerce), signing in to a shop account, and security checks (Cloudflare and Wordfence).
- Statistics: Jetpack (WordPress.com) counts visits and shop activity so we can see which pages and products people use.
- Embedded map: the Google Map on our location and contact pages is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The cart and checkout won’t work without the cookies they need.
How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for seven years for tax and accounting. Membership records are kept for as long as you’re a member and up to seven years after, unless you ask us to delete what we aren’t required to keep. Shop accounts stay until you ask us to close them. Site statistics and security logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.
Children
Our youth programs are signed up for by a parent or guardian, who provides the child’s information. We don’t knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information without a parent’s consent, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Your choices and rights
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it, except what we must keep by law or to settle an open balance.
- Unsubscribe from marketing at any time, from the link in any email or by telling us.
- Close your shop account at any time.
To make a request, email [email protected] or ask at the front desk. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Security
We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), a site firewall, limited staff access and payment processing that keeps card numbers off our systems. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we’ll notify you as Florida law requires.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page when our practices change and adjust the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll also post a notice on the Site.
